WOW! What a GREAT UFC this was. The last few have been complete snooze fests. But UFC 63 did a complete 180 and was awesomely entertaining. I'm glad that Hughes beat BJ Penn. Gotta admit though, I was really worried at the end of the second round when it looked like Penn was going to submit Hughes with that weird triangle/arm bar combo he had him in. I was jumping around my living room screaming for Hughes to hang in there for the last few seconds of the round. It was disappointing to see BJ Penn couldn't last more than two rounds though. I mean c'mon, you are fighting for the championship here and you don't do enough cardio to last more than 10 minutes? Lame. In the end Hughes does what he does to everyone else... pins them down and beats their face in. The Swick vs Loiseau fight was pretty good. It looked like Loiseau was gun shy though and wasn't his usual explosive self. I thought Swick would win anyway, but I at least wanted to see the explosive Loiseau threaten with some elbow strikes more then he did. All in all it was a great UFC! |

the only reason pierre was so bloody, cause BJ thumed him in the eye. i know it wasnt intentional but he did do the same thing to hughes...
